Muscle does not weigh more than fat!
A pound of muscle weighs exactly the same as a pound of fat—they both weigh one pound! That is a common gym cliche, that is nothing more than a misconception.
The misconception is that because a pound of fat takes up about four times the space of muscle tissue, it’s possible to look and feel trimmer even if body weight remains the same.
Moral of the story:
Stop obsessing over body weight and start paying attention to body composition! True fitness goals and healthy living far exceed the numbers on a scale. Remember that!
